General Terms and Conditions
Below you can read our general terms and conditions. The terms apply to all bookings with us, including bookings by phone or if it is made through a third party. If you have any questions, please contact us by e-mail info@bastedalenherrgard.se or on 072-399 84 81.
1. Order
The number of people, price, accommodation and other products and services to be delivered by Bastedalens Herrgård AB are stated in the confirmation that the guest receives after ordering. Children up to 9 years have the opportunity to sleep in their parents' bed at no extra cost.
1.1 Cleaning
Booking of cleaning must be made no later than on arrival or by appointment. Dishes, composting and waste sorting are not included in the cleaning service. Nor cleaning of the common areas.
1.2 Rules for booking without cleaning
The guest has an obligation to read through Bastedalens Herrgård AB cleaning routines. If there are no cleaning routines to be found, the guest has an obligation to contact Bastedalens Herrgård AB to get one. It is up to Bastedalens Herrgård AB to decide what is a good standard when the guest is responsible for their own cleaning. If the guest does not achieve this standard, an additional fee will be deducted by Bastedalens Herrgård AB, SEK 400 / room or SEK 600 / apartment.
1.3 Rules when booking with cleaning
Dishes and wiping of kitchen surfaces are not included when booking cleaning.
2. Validity of the price agreement
The agreed prices are binding on both parties.
3. Change and cancellation
The booking rules that apply to your booking depend on the type of booking you have made. Always check the rules that apply to your booking. These are shown on your booking confirmation. Here you can read more about the different rules for cancellation:
3.1 Guaranteed until kl. 16.00
Bastedalens Herrgård AB is obliged to offer rooms to the guest until 19:00 on the day of arrival, unless a later check-in is agreed. If the guest has not canceled or arrived before this time, Bastedalens Herrgård AB can cancel the room without contacting the guest.
3.2 Warranty
Cancellation of guaranteed reservation must be made no later than 20:00 the day before arrival. If the guest does not come, or if the guest cancels after the scheduled time, the customer must pay for a hotel night.
3.3 Contract bookings
For orders placed by customers with an agreement with Airbnb or another booking provider, the order / cancellation rules set out in the contract apply.
3.4 18-year age limit
For guests who do not travel with parents, we have an 18-year age limit. Bastedalens Herrgård AB reserves the right to cancel the booking if valid identification cannot be presented. If you do not cancel or cancel later than 14 days before arrival, the full amount for booking will be deducted.
3.5 When renting the entire facility
When booking the entire facility, free access to Bastedalens Herrgård AB means room buildings, kitchen and living rooms as well as a garden and sauna. The exceptions are the private parts of the facility such as the greenhouse, China Park, the herb garden and the fenced berry garden. The manor house is not included in the booking of the entire facility unless otherwise agreed and specified.
4. Payment
Payment must be made no later than arrival. At self-check-in, agreement applies when booking.

4.1 Cash payment
Bastedalens Herrgård AB is a cashless hotel unless otherwise agreed when booking. Cash payment is only made in exceptional cases.
4.2 Billing policy
Invoicing must be agreed before the stay begins. When booking the entire facility, full payment must be made no later than 14 days before arrival.
5. Check-in and check-out times
Booked rooms are guaranteed to be ready for check-in from 15:00 on the day of arrival. Check-out is at 11:00 on the day of departure or by appointment.
6. Liability for damage
The guest, or the person who is the guarantor of the room, is responsible for damages that arise as a result of negligence or improper conduct of the guest. We remind you that all rooms at Bastedalens Herrgård AB are pet- and smoke-free. In case of violation, we will demand compensation for extra cleaning of the room. This fee will be charged from the final bill to the guest in charge of the room.
7. Force majeure
Events beyond the control of the parties to the agreement - such as fire, etc. that make it impossible to fulfill the obligations in this agreement - give the right to terminate the agreement without liability for damages.
8. Court
All disputes that may arise between the parties to this agreement (the guest and Bastedalens Herrgård AB) shall be dealt with in accordance with Swedish law. If the dispute cannot be resolved amicably, Bastedalens Herrgård AB's jurisdiction shall apply, with the exception of mandatory rules in consumer agreements.
9. GDPR
Bastedalens Herrgård AB processes personal data in accordance with GDPR and is responsible for personal data about those who use our services.
